Boat Windshield Wipers

I've seen some RC boats with miniature windshield wipers, and it got me thinking—practical or just a cool aesthetic? Do these tiny wipers serve any functional purpose, or are they purely for show?

I added windshield wipers to my boat, mainly for the visual appeal. While they don't serve a practical purpose on the water, they do add a touch of realism when the boat is on display.

Believe it or not, I've found that small windshield wipers can help disperse water droplets on the boat's surface during high-speed runs. It might be a subtle effect, but I like the practical touch it adds.
