So I joined hoping to get some help on what paint to use for a custom wood RC boat.

My brother and I have started a project. We are building custom RC boats. We have the motors, wood, etc. but we are not sure which paint and coating to use. There are a lot of options and when looking around online, everyone says something different so I am not sure. Which sort of paint and protective coating works best for

I would appreciate the help. My name is Aaron. I am new to the hobby. It is something my brother and I decided to do together as a project. We are planning on making a few of them to possibly enter in races and other competitions. Having fun thus far!

Welcome to the forum mate! Wish I knew more about paint to help you out but I have not a clue myself. I am sure someone where will be able to point you in the right direction though. Hope you enjoy it here
